Its integrated drainage system is engineered to handle rainfall without you needing to adjust the louvres during typical weather conditions. Water flows into U-shaped channels built into the roof section, then moves through the aluminium framework and down through the legs. This prevents water pooling and helps maintain a clear, usable space beneath. As with all pergolas, very heavy or prolonged rain may exceed the system’s capacity, causing occasional overflow similar to a household gutter during extreme weather. Assembly takes approximately 3-4 hours with 2/3 people. The pergola must be installed on a solid, level surface, and bolting the structure down immediately after construction is essential to prevent movement and ensure long-term stability.
