Barolo Bussia is an appellation that immediately attracts the attention of many Langhe and Nebbiolo enthusiasts. Bussia, in fact, is almost synonymous with high quality Barolo. Unique bottles of their kind, capable of giving strong emotions. In this case Attilio Ghisolfi proposes it with grapes from Bricco Visette. "Nome omen", since Visette derives from the dialectal expression "vis" and means small vines. Obtained from pure Nebbiolo grapes (of course), the starting vineyards have an average age between 20 and 40 years. Maturation in wood lasts about 30 months, followed by at least another 6 months in the bottle. Dark garnet red in colour, the nose is elegant, intense and spicy, with notes of red fruits such as raspberries, currants and pomegranate. In the mouth it is particularly rich and well balanced, with an interesting tannic structure. It is a classic red wine of the Langhe tradition that goes well with roasted red meat, game, truffled foods and mature cheeses. ...
