The word 'Bussia' indicates that this Barolo is produced with grapes from one of the most prestigious 'cru' in the region. A restricted production area that is particularly suited to the Barolo DOCG denomination. We are in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo. Here the soils are calcareous-clayey and rich in minerals, giving the wine structure and complexity. The nose shows an intense and refined bouquet, characterised by notes of small red fruits, plums, cherries and spices. To these are added hints of dried flowers, liquorice and cocoa, with a mineral background that lends complexity. In the mouth it is soft and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant freshness that makes it balanced and easy to drink. The structure is important and the aromatic persistence is long, with a mineral and lingering finish. A meditation wine, on the table it accompanies main courses of red meat and game, first courses with mushrooms and mature cheeses. ...
