The Trebbio vineyard is a CRU in the Meleto sub-zone. The decision to enhance this vineyard stems from the desire to exalt the multiple expressions of Sangiovese that Castello di Meleto offers. Its rows also include vines of Ciliegiolo and Colorino, minor varieties historically used in the Chianti Classico blend, representing a heritage of biodiversity that Castello di Meleto wished to preserve.
