In the Romagnolo dialect, Arlùs means to sparkle, shine or shine. It is hard to think of a more apt name than this for the wine that cantina Trerè offers here. A dry white, it is made from pure Albana grapes cultivated using the traditional "pergoletta romagnola" system. Part of the fruit is picked normally, while part is picked slightly later than the ripening point, when the so-called noble rot, or botrytis cinerea, has already made its appearance. Its presence on the bunches causes the grapes to dehydrate quickly and gives the finished wine characteristic notes on the nose and an enviable brilliance.
