In the North East, and in particular in Veneto and Friuli, Pinot Grigio has always been considered a wine of great interest. This vine, perhaps not everyone knows, derives from a mutation of Pinot Noir and loves cool climates. In Friuli, in particular, Livio Felluga cultivates it on the slopes of the hills, its ideal habitat. The raw material is of a high standard and careful vinification succeeds in making the most of it. Felluga's Pinot Grigio, in particular, stands out for its finesse and elegance. It is no coincidence that it is one of Felluga's most popular wines in the world. From apricot, percoca, to melon and yellow peach. All made even more inviting by a slightly sweet sensation of custard. In the mouth it is rich and crisp. Full and progressive. There is a perfect aromatic correspondence with what was first perceived on the nose with, in this case, also a nice freshness and a pleasant savouriness to make everything more balanced. The finish is fresh and very persistent, with an aftertaste of citrus and white fruit. An easy wine to pair, it is especially recommended with fish dishes, shellfish and vegetable pies. ...
