In Bolgheri, in the magnificent natural amphitheatre of about 6 hectares of Podere Roseto, the grapes ripen slowly, kissed by a warm and generous sun, and kept cool by constant sea breezes. They thus arrive at the moment of harvest, rich in colour and fragrance, ready to be transformed in the cellar. The wine matures for almost a year in second-hand French oak barriques before being bottled without any filtration or clarification. The result is a wine characterized by an intense ruby red colour.
