Fiano is one of the most important vines in Campania and in Irpinia, in particular, it produces some of the most complex white wines in the region, and perhaps in Italy. Complexity, after all, is the distinguishing feature of this vine, which lends itself well both to being made into wine on its own, as in this case, and to blends with other local vines, such as Greco. For its Campanaro, Feudi di San Gregorio foresees, after vinification, a permanence in oak Tonneau for about 6 months. The result is an interesting white wine characterized by an intense straw yellow colour, bright and warm. The bouquet is ample, with tones of ripe pear and grapefruit followed by mint and honey. Then floral nuances of broom and hawthorn. In the mouth, on the other hand, it is appreciated for its fine, fresh acidity, due in large part to the mineral content of the soil.
