There are wines that perfectly represent their territory. And Talò, Primitivo di Manduria DOP, is undoubtedly one of them. Proudly proposed by Cantina di San Marzano, it is made from pure Primitivo grapes. Vines grown not far from the sea that give rise to fruit rich in sugar and flavour, which in turn give rise to a full-bodied red wine, characterised by a beautiful minerality and balsamicity, as well as an abundance of fragrant red fruit, typical of the best-known Apulian varietal in the world. Matured in French and American oak barrels for 6 months, Talò presents itself in the glass with a beautiful ruby red colour, enriched with violet reflections. The nose reveals a broad and gratifying bouquet reminiscent of ripe cherries and plums, with pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla. On the palate, on the other hand, one discovers a wine of fine structure, softened by the persuasive warmth of the Primitivo, and ending with notes of long sweetness.
