Chianti and Sangiovese are two terms that always go hand in hand. In Tuscany, Chianti is the most important and widespread denomination and the one coming from the Sienese hills, classified DOCG, represents a noble interpretation of it. It is produced from pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested when fully ripe in the vineyards that climb the hills of the province of Siena, where the dense woods give way to vineyards tended like gardens. The processing is simple and involves only the use of steel and controlled temperatures. The ideal way to make the most of the varietal, giving the drinker the sensation of a fresh, vital wine. In the glass the colour is a lively ruby red. No signs of fatigue or premature ageing. On the nose, on the contrary, the bouquet is justly ample with memories especially of nice crunchy red fruit and notes of underbrush, moss and mushrooms. In the mouth it is essential and pleasant at the same time. A base of red fruit reminiscent of that perceived earlier, merges with mineral notes.
