Girlan "Trattmann" Pinot Noir Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2022 - Country: Italy - Capacity: 0.75

Trattmann is a Pinot Noir, Alto Adige DOC, from the Girlan winery. It comes from a very careful selection of grapes from vineyards in the municipality of Mazzon, from Pinzon, not far away, and from Cornaiano in the Oltradige. Harvested by hand, after destemming the must is transferred by gravity into stainless steel vats where fermentation takes place. Then, after malolactic fermentation, it is aged for 12 months in large oak casks and barriques. This is followed by a further refinement of about 8 months in a large 70-hectolitre cask and another 6 months in the bottle. The result is a wine characterized by a beautifully intense ruby red colour with hints of light garnet. Intense and complex aromas with hints of ripe fruit, cherry and marasca cherry.
