A late harvest of pure Muscat grapes. The grapes are not harvested when they reach maturity but are left on the vines, exposed to the sun and air, waiting for a slow drying process to begin. The result is that the sugar contained in the bunch is concentrated and the wine obtained is particularly fragrant. This technique, however, has some risks. All it takes is a thunderstorm or an early autumn frost to thwart all the vintner's efforts. But if things go right, the result is a wonderfully sweet wine with an incredible breadth of aromas.
