You can't think of Le Marche, its sea and its wonderful hills without thinking of the most typical wine of these parts. At least for us true enthusiasts. So here we are with Verdicchio, the good one, the one that comes from the restricted area of Castelli di Jesi. In this case, Mancinelli offers it in a Classic and a Superior version. The word Classica indicates the historicity of the vineyards, located in the oldest and most typical area of the denomination. The word Superiore, on the other hand, refers to the category of this wine, which is superior to the standard also by virtue of a slightly higher alcohol content. It is the result of a careful selection of the grapes during the harvest and a low temperature fermentation in steel. The same containers are also used for the rapid refinement before resting in the bottle. Intense straw yellow with golden hues, this wine has an evident bouquet of flowers and fruit. In the mouth it is fresh, dry, with delicate notes of citrus and tropical fruit. The finish is typical, with a distinct hint of bitter almond. A white wine to be served chilled as an aperitif. Excellent with grilled fish or fried fish. For an accompaniment to the territory, baccalì all'anconetana is simply... the death of it! ...
